Hello, I’m having some trouble translating these phrases. Help would be greatly appreciated. Transelate these phrases: 1. Augustus a psittaco et a pica salutatus erat.

2. “Ave, Caesar victor imperator”, aves dixerant et Augustus eas emerat.

3. His exemplis impulsus, pauper sutor corvum instituit ad similem salutationem.

4. Saepe autem ad avem non respondentem dicere consueverat : “Tempus et operam perdidi.”

5. Post multos dies, corvus tandem optatam salutationem dicere coepit.

6. Sed Augustus, ubi salutationem audivit, respondit : “Domi satis talium salutatorum habeo.”

7. Tum corvus verba adsueta adiecit : “Tempus et operam perdidi.”

8. Ad haec verba Augustus risit pecuniam que sutori dedit.
