What was the difference between the economies of the Northern states and the Southern states and what do you feel the long term consequence may be due to these ways of life? (Remember one economy depended entirely on Slavery and agriculture. One economy depended more on manufacturing and trade. Think about which states have warmer weather and which were closer to water. Think about who colonized which states and what their goal was IE: who went for money and who went for religious freedom.)
