If you are against Confederacy, then that means you oppose slavery. The confederates only wanted their own country for profits by utilizing slaves and treating living people as mere dispensible tools, so if you stand for the confederates you are demeaning hundreds of cultures, all of the cultures whom wanted freedom for all peoples, THOSE are the people being looked down on.
