How did the new technologies of WWI affect soldiers fighting on the front lines? Please include at least three examples of new technologies in your answer.  

Three examples of new technologies in WWI are tanks, gasses and automatic guns. The tanks could cross the no-mans land safely and attack the front line and then the rest of their enemies. Although they could cross safely they were very slow and often broke down. Gases were used on the battlefield to distract the enemy. Gases could burn blind or even kill those it came into contact with. The last example is machine guns. It was often used by the front lines and was built to fire more bullets in a round and to spend less time loading.  

How did women get involved in the war effort abroad? Please include at least two examples in your answer.  

Women got involved in the war mainly though nursing. 21,000 woman joined nursing corps. This was the first time woman were admitted into the military and a huge step to gaining right to vote (for woman). Some women went to Europe to serve as telephone operators.  

How was the war experience of a minority soldier different from that of a white soldier? Please include at least three examples in your response.  

White soldiers were more respected, while minority soldiers could be replaced. Minority soldiers were given less important jobs like digging trenches or a non-combat role. There were some groups that were made up of only African Americans. Due to their poor English, some were sent to train on their speaking skills before going into the military.  

president franklin roosevelt supported the tva as part of his first new deal measures approved by congress in 1933. this new agency was designed to control floods, produce electric power, and improve the lives of people living in the tennessee valley. the tva accomplished many of these goals despite problems.

for the united states of america, 1945 to 1964 was a time of high economic growth and general prosperity. it was also a time of confrontation as the capitalist united states and its allies politically opposed the soviet union and other communist countries; the cold war had begun.
