One of the main things the us government did after entering the way in 1917 was to?

After entering the war President Wilson created a list of things they could do to end the war and make the world peaceful again.  It was later called the 14 points. The points to peace were mostly about land issues and some were about general ways to peace. These ideas were later used to help end the war and sign the Treaty of Versailles which included many of the 14 points.
