Why were the people of the arabian peninsula primarily nomadic? the threat of invasion prevented them from staying in one place for too long. according to their religious beliefs, people should keep moving from place to place. most of the land was and is dry, sandy desert, making it difficult to settle down and farm. easy access to the persian gulf and red sea encouraged movement.
