Why did so many african-american men and women choose to love and fight for the young nation that rejected their citizenship and status as humans and declined to “go back” to africa?

Hgood question.me as an african american will be glad to answer that question.
the reason why goes for two answer's the first is that well my race is stubborn i admit it and when we see people say stuff like you can't live in this country because your not human or you'll never be able to do that here we like to show those people wrong,we like to go to people who say we can't and look them straight in the eye and say yes we can. as for number two that would be we saw potential we saw a country that said i will no i am the face of the world and i will be the country that every crook and crack of the earth will know it's  name. we saw this county stand out from the rest and we said who care's what it does or say's to us if we have to set it straight we will because this is a country that will be none till the end of the earth and we will make sure that happen's.

well that's my answer i did it the best i could to tell it like it is now as there are thousand's of more reason's why we stayed these two would be the top hope this 's : )
