Which is true about a senator’s term in office?

As far as the U.S. Senate system is concerned, a senator's term of office may last up to six years in general and may be re-elected or seek another term after its current term. On the other hand, in the Philippine Senate, they have the same six-year tenure and may be re-elected into a maximum of 2 consecutive terms.
