Explain, in your own words, your thoughts about the possible meaning or meanings behind the story of pandora

The meaning of Pandora was to explain why their is evil in this world. Pandora realized her mistake and closed the box before it "hope" could escape, and without "hope" there's destruction and cayuse. She let out the "bad", realized her mistake and protected all "hope" in the world.

Personally I don't really know much about the story about Pandora, but here's what I got from reading it. I think that the possible meanings or meaning behind the story, is that there is evil, betrayal, and curiosity in the world. Even though Zeus told Pandora not to open the box, her curiosity was still poking at her. When Pandora realized she made a mistake by first, opening the box and second, by realizing all the 'bad" before her "hope" could escape from the box.  :]
