The Council of Trent ( 1545 - 1563 ) was one of the Roman Catholic Church`s  most important ecumenical councils.
The main objectives :
- The principles and doctrines of Protestantism are condemned.
- The Roman Catholic Church is ultimate interpreter of the Bible.
- God should be worshiped with ceremony and splendor.
