Why might citizens choose to join a political party?

One of the most common reason why people join political parties is to “organize their efforts to achieve common goals”. By doing this, it makes them feel involved especially when it comes to goals about the country's government. It also allows people to convey an agenda/opinion concerning the direction of the country.
