How do you think rome's location on the mediterranean affected its history as it began to grow into a world power

The Mediterranean is a centralized location between Europe and Asia, making it very easy to trade as well as travel far to spread their influence with the exception of certain geographical barriers around places like China and India, making their influence not as available. Rome's location was key to being able to grow into the prosperous Empire remembered today.
