What was one result of the war of 1812?

It was the first time that the United States was organizing a war against Britain, which had the most superior army in the world. Due to the superiority of the British Sea, it was expected that the United States would lose some of its territories to the British. However, none of the territories of the United States was conquered during the war. The success of the United States in asserting its independence from the British also makes them insist that they won the war.
