In what ways did native peoples transform north american environment before european colonization

The natives transformed north america by growing crops, and raising animals. they had everything in its natural habitat, and went hunting when they needed food. they made great use of everything. also, they used and gave land when it was needed, and didn't see lands as great value, since they lived together and most, but not all, in harmony.
