Explored the coast of Venezuela. On August 27, 1499 Francisco de Bobadilla arrived, who, with powers of the kings, imprisoned the three Columbus brothers on a ship on September 15 and sent them chained to the peninsula in mid-October, arriving in Cádiz on November 25. 1500

• On the fourth trip, he left Seville on April 3, 1502 and arrived in Hispaniola on June 29. On July 17, he landed in present-day Honduras and returned on September 11 from Santo Domingo, arriving on November 7 in Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
