Gabi noong ika-17 ng Hulyo, 1982, itinatag ni Andres Bonifacio ang KKK.

Isinasagawa ito sa isang bahay sa Tondo. Katulong niya ang kanyang dalawang kaibigang

sina Teodoro Plata at Ladislao Diwa. Ang Katipunan ay isang lihim na samahan ng mga

Pilipinong Makabayan. Si Andres Bonifacio ay isa ring miyembro ng La Liga Filipina ni Jose

Rizal. Nang ito’y bumagsak, lalo pa niyang pinagsumikapang mabuo at palakasin ang

rebolusyonaryong samahan ng Katipunan. Naging layunin ng Katipunan ang mapag-isa ang

damdaming Pilipino at magkaroon ng Kalayaan sa pamamagitan ng paghihimagsik
