I fear for my captain's life. We have been ice bound in James Bay for several weeks now, and the crew is growing mutinous. We were unsuccessful in finding a passage west through the new land, despite the captain's insistence that everything was going according to plan. Food stores are running low. I hope that warm weather or help reaches us soon. Who is the English captain?
