Germany's plan for winning the "War to End All Wars," in which Germany knew it would have to fight two fronts against France and Russia, depended on three things going right: 1. Germany's speed and technology 2. Russia being 6 weeks delayed entering the war 3. Great Britain staying out of war all together Schlieffen's plan was FOOLPROOF and worked like a charm--just the way they had planned.
