Read this passage:
A country's government is controlled by a powerful
legislative branch. Every two years, citizens may vote for
leaders to represent them in a national legislature. This
legislature makes all laws in the country. The political party
that holds a majority in the legislature appoints one of its
members to head the weaker executive branch, which
enforces and administers the laws.
