O a change in seasons
O a decline in the population
O lack of food in the environment

A change of seasons. Nomads could just adapt.

I think its the third one, a decline in the population.

The nomadic group would move if there is a lack of food. They would also move if the seasons change. And they would move if there is a scarcity of game. But they would not move if there is a decreese in their population.
