Political activism at the grassroots level is essential to the citizen relationship with politics. Thousands of unpaid volunteers hit the streets, phones and Internet every day in search of support of their cause. These might be in support of the protest of major initiatives such as abortion, same sex marriage or Congressional candidacies, or as local as school funding or mayoral elections. What are some examples of how grassroots activists communicate with citizens for support?
