This is an editorial in the San Francisco News regarding the placement of Japanese Americans in
internment camps during World War II. These camps were designed to move the entire population
of Japanese ancestry away from the West Coast while the United
States was at war with Japan. Some
Japanese Americans were able to relocate to other states, but many were sent to these camps.
