What are four reasons people came to the 13 colonies to settle

Freedom to practice their religion in the public square.  Freedom from tyranny.  Freedom to pursue whatever job they wanted.

1. Escape religious prosecution from England ( the Puritans grew tired of the incomplete reformation of the English Church.)

2. To Explore new crops ( since Spaniards found riches in other worlds, it motivated the British to Explore the New World )

3. Find labor ( people that were oppressed in England, losing jobs, homes, and money to taxes and other reforms from government types)

4. New land for expanding territory ( more British power )
