Over the time, the greek gods and goddesses became

Over time Greek gods and goddesses became less popular to worship. Nowadays if you ask a person if they knew anything about the Greek religion or the "gods and goddesses" most people would know or have an idea of it, yet it is not very popular form of religion. 

The world has been very influenced the the Greeks, some of our ideas come from them, or fiction type books are written about them. But I think there is more informative non fiction books about them. Theres so many other ways they influenced them but that would be a lot of writing.
