What impact has new deal legislation had on federal and state governments?

The "New Deal'' was in response to the Great Depression, a time when many Americans were jobless and suffered from unemployment. The impact the New Deal had on Federal and State Governments was that it allowed people the opportunity of employment, creating new jobs for those who were left unemployed.

New Deal established programs that established jobs for many states that were suffering from unemployment. 

These programs WPA, CCC etc helped get people back to work

Do you have more info about it ? i doubt this is the answer because i don't have all the information but if trouble was brewing in a clinic maybe it was an argument as to which clinic was better or smth of that nature
