How did the bourbon triumvirate attempt to shape the new south?

They did that  politically in their jobs as governors and senators creating laws.
By creating the laws and regulations that requires the southern citizen to do a certain things, in the long run the value of what considerd as right or wrong in that area will start to change.
On top of that, governmental position also helped them to bring the technology from the northern states and enhance southern's economy.
