The first amendment of the united states constitution states you have freedom of religion, speech, press, and the right to assemble. while you can worship how you wish, your religious practices cannot harm someone. you cannot yell "fire" in a crowded theater nor can a newspaper publish a story known to be false. you have the right to assemble, as long as it remains peaceful. why does the first amendment restrict absolute freedoms or rights?
