Which group of colonists were most affected by the stamp act, who eventually tried to resistance to the british?

The Stamp Act was passed by the British Parliament on March 22, 1765. The new tax was imposed on all American colonists and required them to pay a tax on every piece of printed paper they used. Passed through Parliament against little opposition and signed into law by George III, the Stamp Act imposed on the British colonies in North America a tax on printed documents, including legal papers, contracts, bills of sale, licenses, wills, ships' papers, advertisements, newspapers, and magazines. 

Now, I believe the People who were most affected by this act were lawyers, printers, merchants, ministers, and businessmen.  

The colonies eventually tried to put resistance to the British. The colonies resisted British control by creating resistance groups. One group was the committee of correspondence, the committee of correspondence wrote letters to make sure everyone I the colonies knew what events were going on. Another group the Sons of Liberty and they helped organize the Boston Tea Party and the fight against the Stamp Act. The last group was the Daughters of Liberty and they helped boycott British goods by making their own yarn and tea. These and other acts of resistance eventually led to the American Revolutionary War.
