Which belief was generally held by the founding fathers at the constitutional convention in 1787?

Assuming that this is referring to the same list of options that was posted before with this question, the correct response would be the second option, having to do with the fact that all of the Founders knew that the Articles of  Confederation were flawed and needed to be either replaced of heavily revised.
