Both the AAA and SCS were meant to help farmers during the Great Depression. The AAA (Agricultural Adjustment Act) actually paid farmers not to plant crops. This was due to the fact that there were a surplus of crops available in America. When there is a surplus, the price of goods will decrease. So, to make prices of goods increase, the government paid farmers to not produce as much. This helped them in the long run, as they were able to get paid well for their products.

The SCS (Soil Conservation Service) provides aid to farmers and landowners. This could be assistance will equipment, methods of farming, technology, etc. Both government agencies significantly helped farmers during the Great Depression.
