How did agricultural development influence the locations of emerging civilizations and the jobs of people who lived there?

People living in agricultural areas and where agriculture was highly common were increasingly becoming farmers, they also had much more food compared to peopel who lived in hunter-gatherer societies. The locations changed in the sense that people who lived in agricultural societies started living near water sources as to provide enough water for them.
