Why did african-americans have more difficulty purchasing a home than white americans in the post world war ii economic boom?

African-americans have more difficulty in purchasing a home than white americans in the post world war ii because of the fact that the white people have more control over the economy than of the african american citizens by which they are likely to be looked down over than be respected.
