How did the english bill of rights influence the individual freedoms we value today in the united states?

well the bill of rights affects the united states today by establishing our rights and duties, and the rights and duties of the government. the united states bill of rights effects us citizens in a number of different ways. it grants citizens certain rights, such as freedom of speech, peaceful assembly, rights against search an seizures. these rights though are not without exception though. for example you have a right against search and seizure, without problem cause (normally established by a warrant). the rights can also be suspended, such as our right to a fair and speedy trial, granted by the vi amendment, which has been suspended by the patriot act.
