How does once being part of the british empire affect india today?

It affects it by being different if you were to live in another country when you came from another country and they do different things than what your culture does. It tales some getting used to if you switched cultures. 

Contributing factors  leading  to the harlem renaissance were the great migration of african americans to northern cities, which concentratedambitious  people in places where they could encourage each  other, and the first world war, which had created new industrial work opportunities for tens of thousands of people.
