George Washington's cabinet consisted of some of the greatest minds of the 18th century. This included his Secretary of State Thomas Jefferson and Secretary of Treasury Alexander Hamilton. Jefferson and Hamilton constantly disagreed on issues pertaining to American society. This included the creation of the National Bank and whether or not to help the French during the French Revolution.

Ultimately, the differences between Jefferson and Hamilton lead to the creation of the first political parties in US history. The creation of political parties changes America forever, as they still exist today.
