Ryan has hit it big - no, not in athletics - he suffered from that dreaded disease -lot (lack of talent) - after washing out in baseball, he got a job selling the happy meal toys to mcdonald's and other similar products - his first three months alone, he netted over 1.3 million. to celebrate, ryan goes out and buys the car of his dreams - the latest bentley. to take it even further, ryan has the car customized - gold door handles, genuine leopard fur seats, a slide-out bar, a 60 inch interne screen to watch movies, and other accessories.

ryan wanted to protect his car from theft and vandalism. so, he had the vehicle equipped with, an electric shock device that would sound an alarm and sent out an electric shock to the person touching the car. asa comes along and decides to take the car for a ride to impress his mom.
ryan has mistakenly forgotten to lock the car and has left the fob on the dash. asa sees the fob and tries the driver's door, which is unlocked. as asa started to open the door, the alarm sounded and asa received an electric shock. asa has had a history of heart issues and has a defib device implanted in his chest. the shock triggers a massive reaction from the defib device which fries the device and then causes a massive heart attack.

asa's wife, jamie, is standing next to him as asa goes down to the payment. jamie ran to her poor hubby and was holding his head when asa looked up at her and said, "sorry, just wanted to take you for a ride in a nice car before i died. just promise me that after i am gone, you will not marry tom terrific, our business prof." with those words, asa expires and dies in his wife's arms.

neither asa or jamie saw a sign in the car's back window, "caution. car is equipped with anti-theft devices. proceed to touch car at your own risk."

that was two years ago. jamie still suffers from nightmares and has other issues from witnessing her husband's death. she consults tt for advice as to her claims against ryan- discuss and decide. cite any applicable rules, cases, and/or principles of law.
