• resources must be directly relevant to families with children (birth - 5 years old). when
developing your list think about common crisis situations or dilemmas that families of
young children may find themselves facing that would need your and
guidance. topics may include food, housing, clothing needs, diapers/formula
needs, assistance with paying utilities or child care expenses, transportation resources,
medical or dental needs, mental health needs, literacy, job skills, employment, assistance
locating available child care.
• seek resources that provide free or low cost services.
