The territory of the United States is of vast extent; it now contains near three millions of souls, and is capable of containing much more than ten times that number. Is it practicable for a country, so large and so numerous as they will soon become, to elect a representation, that will speak their sentiments, without their becoming so numerous as to be incapable of transacting public business? It certainly is not.

A. In one paragraph, describe what the Anti-Federalists would think about the size of federal government and the U. S. population today.

B. In a second paragraph, describe how court cases and public policy since the ratification of the Constitution have addressed the issues and arguments presented by the Anti-Federalists.

50 points ! If you give an invalid answer I will report. This is my review for my test so I need to know these things :-(
