i think it is that you should vote for trump and not Boe Jiden
Explanation:
3 reasons to stick with Trump in 2020
Here are 3 logical, rational reasons to re-elect the President:
1. You are closely aligned with Republican ideals, and you see that the Trump administration has spearheaded initiatives related to beliefs that you value.
Even if you don’t like Donald Trump as a person, you must recognize that his administration has successfully pushed through much of the agenda that has been set by the Republican party.
From the appointing of judges and Supreme Court justices to implementing tax cuts, to increasing defense spending, and more, Trump’s crew has done more for the conservative agenda, than almost any preceding Republican President.
A second term would see more of the same.
2. You are closely aligned with Republican ideals, and yet you don’t agree with some of the things that Trump has done or said during his first term. Nonetheless, you can’t bring yourself to vote for Joe Biden because he has been supremely unimpressive during the campaign.
There are many concerns about whether Joe Biden is in cognitive decline. That is a legitimate cause for concern now that he is a candidate for President. The number of gaffes that he has committed on the campaign trail has become daily fodder for talk shows and podcasts.
At this point, it is not even clear what his agenda is going to be, once he becomes President. What is his platform? Other than ‘a return to normal’? His vision, whatever that may be, has not been spelled out to the American people.
Does a Republican voter want to vote against the current President, when the other guy’s main platform is that he’s not Donald Trump?
If you say that you are voting for Trump because Biden will make a terrible leader, and will not be able to achieve your conservative goals for the country, that makes complete sense to me.
3. Prior to the pandemic, Trump’s economic numbers were outstanding.
Liberals like to point to the fact that President Obama left Trump with a great economy, after being dealt a bad hand by President Bush. That may be true. But Trump continued the trend after Obama left office, and the country was in an upward swing for the better part of 3.5 years, before the worldwide virus hit.
You may be able to blame Trump for not acting fast enough to address the virus. But if you’re fair, you cannot put too much blame on him for the current state of the economy. The economies of the majority of the world have also been hit hard. There are very few other countries that have recovered to any degree. And it does appear that Trump is motivated to get the country moving again, as he has continually been pushing for businesses to reopen. Whether you agree or disagree with the morality, the message from him is clear: we need to work again.
For that reason, it makes sense to stick with him, to see you through this tough economic time. There is no evidence that Biden would have done any better, considering that this is an event that has never happened in our lifetimes.
In summary
While I personally could never bring myself to vote for Trump, I can see why some people might. And I understand that those people may not be bad people or racists.
At worst, a good person might vote for Trump because they are being a little selfish. They were happy with the majority of his agenda, they were happy with his successes, and they could see that the country (and themselves, personally) were doing well economically.
If the Democratic Party wants those types of people to vote for Joe Biden, they really have to persuade them that it will be worth their while.
At this point, they really haven’t done that, and so it makes perfect sense for them to stick with Trump.
