You will need to research a bit to find such a case. Once you have a case, try to find at least two different sources that detail the same case. This can be a report from a newspaper, an article about fingerprints that references the case, or an excerpt from a textbook or academic report that discusses the case. Be sure to keep track of the resources you use in your research and include them in a brief ‘Works Cited’ list at the end of your report.
Your research paper should provide details of the case and should explain exactly the role that fingerprint evidence played in solving the crime.
