Angela is a prosecutor who handles mostly murder cases. She believes "The CSI Effect" is real and can be problematic for trying cases, but she also has a new theory. Angela believes that millennials don't care about shows that show how police and forensic professionals do their jobs, and it's mostly older jurors who are confused by the science. She thinks younger jurors might be skeptical, but they just want reliable evidence wherever it comes from. Angela thinks only seniors watch TV shows about police and forensic procedures, so she wants to eliminate all jurors who watch those shows. Angela knows it is illegal to eliminate potential jurors based on age, race, sex, or for any reason based on discrimination. However, she can eliminate them for non-discriminatory reasons.

1. Is wanting to avoid "The CSI Effect" a discriminatory reason to eliminate jurors, in general? Why or why not?

2. Does it matter if Angela believes this effect is directly tied to age? Why or why not?
