At 10:30 pm I was dispatched on a report of a female suspect attempting to break into vehicles parked on Main Street. As I drove down Main Street I observed the suspect, Ms. Thief, peering into car windows and carrying tools. I immediately exited my cruiser and arrested Ms. Thief. I transported Ms. Thief to the police station for questioning relating to a series of vehicle thefts in the area. After about 20 minutes of interrogation Ms. Thief confessed to 3 vehicle thefts saying “I stole 3 cars just last week. I do love a good joyride.” She was then advised of her rights and booked into the jail.
