8y+10-3y=5
Subtract both sides by 10

Divide both sides by 5

Now that we have a value of y we can put that value into any equation and we will get the value of x

2x-3(-1)=5
2x+3=5
Subtract both sides by 3
2x=2
Divide both sides by 2

x=4(-1)+5
