Iam really confused about this question for math.. any would be really appreciated: a reflection about the x-axis and a dilation of 2. y= (1/4) to the power of x

A reflection about the x axis, about y=0, is the mapping (x',y')=(x,-y) so

A dilation of 2 is the mapping (x'',y'')=(2x', 2y')

So

We can rewrite that without the primes and combine the powers of 2.

Let's graph these and see if we're close,

The first one, i believe, would be correct. all the others have one thing in common, and that's that they have repeating numbers. in the second one, x and y have repeating 6's and 3's, and in the third, x and y have repeating 6's as well. in the last one, there are repeating 3's. the first one has no repeating numbers.
