(x,y) --> (x,-y) means that they want you to turn the three coordinates of the corners of the triangle and add a negative sign infront off all the "y" numbers.

we need the coordinates for the three corners first, they are:

(2,3) , (7,4) , (6,8) "from lowest to highest up"

now we need to add a negative sign to all the "y" numbers, which are 3,4,8.

now we get (2,-3) , (7,-4) , (6,-8).

when you graph this you should get a mirror image of the triangle reflected along the x-axis.
