What a square that is 9 cm on each side is similar to a square that is 3 cm on each side; each side in the larger square is three times as long as the one it corresponds to in the smaller square. how does the perimeter of the larger square relate to the perimeter of the smaller square? how does the area of the larger square relate to the area of the smaller square? if cubes were to be built from these squares, how would the volume of the larger cube relate to the volume of the smaller cube?
