Given points are  (6,7) and (2,-1). Now we have to find the equation of line that doesn't passes through these two points.

Now plug m=2 and any point say (2,-1) into y=mx+b

-1=2*2+b

-1=4+b

-5=b

plug m=2 and y=-5 into y=mx+b

So the line passing through given points is y=2x-5
