Find the slope of each line.

The slope is found by the change in Y over the change in X

For line AB

Slope = (11-(-4) / (2-(-1)

= 15/3 = 5/1

= 5

For line CD

Slope = (10-1) / (4-1)

= 9/3

= 3

Because the slopes are not the same, the lines are not parallel.

The slopes are not reciprocal of each other so are not perpendicular either.

The answer would be neither.

y +3y +12 = 6x
