1.6 miles - 1.1 miles = 0.5 miles

8 minutes - 2 minutes = 6 minutes

She traveled 0.5 miles in 6 minutes.

1 hour = 60 minutes.

60 minutes / 6 minutes = 10

0.5 x 10 = 5

She is walking 5 miles per hour.
