Peter is tiling his bathroom shower. he will be tiling 3 walls on the shower and the fourth side will have a glass door. the shower measures 4 feet by 6 feet and the tiles will go 7 feet high. the glass door measures 6 feet by 7 feet. the tiles are 4 inches by 4 inches, so there are 9 tiles per square foot. it is recommended that he should purchase 10% more than the number of tiles to fill the area in case any tiles break or need to be cut, or replaced later.

determine the number of tiles peter should purchase.
